I got mine last month. I work in a hospital, the employee health nurse comes right to me and gives it. I don't even have to get up FTW.

Is there a shortage still like it used to be?

If so then unless you work where you need it or it's required then you just killed a old person by taking their shot, otherwise I just don't get sick. 😛

I'm in the Army, they vaccinate us for damn near everything. What's worse is, I'm an MP, so we get even more vaccinations than normal since we are highly likely to come in contact with blood and other body fluids in the line of duty.

University would give it to me for cheap, but fuck it. Never caught it with or without the shot, and last flu shot I had gave me a bad reaction that made me miss a concert my friends and I had been planning on for a month. So the vaccine has hurt me more than the actual flu. As I said, fuck it.

I bet none of you guys have been vaccinated against smallpox. Western World does not worry about another war?

You don't have to worry about a slow death that takes a few days to kill you like that as if it comes down to some countries tossing around biological weapons then nukes will be next.

Got my 100% covered by insurance flu shot last week. My arm was sore for about 2 days, but otherwise, I was just fine. And, with all the kids I'm around, I'm not getting the flu from them.

October 27th for flu shot here.

I also get a free blood screening on the 20th, and a free followup exam after + $50 gift card for completing the 3 activities. All on my job/insurance's dime.

I have never had a flu shot. I never get the flu any more often than anyone else anyway, so why waste my time, money, and run the same (or perhaps higher) chance of getting the flu, and have to deal with getting stuck by a needle? I friggin' hate needles. Screw all that.

This x2.
