lol, if he can manage to syphon it out and put some regular gas in it it should be ok

He should be forced to keep sucking on the syphon hose... until the tank is dry 😀

That'll learn him.

He'll be a pro in no time.

.. for the money per gallon he was saving, he probably ran in to the gas station, purchased a red 99 cent funnel and went back out and filled 'er up.

getting the fuel out is easy, pull the schradder valve out of the fuel rail and put a hose on it. let the fuel pump pump it out. the real question is where is he going to put 20 gallons of diesel fuel.

So he's on a road trip of sorts, and this kid is by no means dumb, but has no common sense.

He calls, and says that his car broke down. He drives some family sedan. Apparently, he pulled into a gas station, and spied a "new, cheap gas that he hadn't seen before."

Yeah, you guessed. The dumb fvck put diesel in his car. Busted the hell out of it. If I could reach through the phone and slap the hell out of him I would.

isn't the nozzle for diesel bigger than gas so it won't fit?

Speaking of stupid - one of my friends intentionally did a burnout next to a cop at a stoplight and was suprised that he got pulled over. His plea to the cop verbatim "But officer, it's the last day of school, I had to do a clutch bomb!"

Freaking idiot

Now, that I believe. Stupid kids. LOL.

the good thing with diesel is it won't ruin the engine, just won't rune, once you flush it all out if should start up fine. Now the other way around will cause more serious problems. If he disconnects the fuel rails and turns the key to on but not start it, that primes the fuel pump and will flush out the diesel in the lines if he is the do it yourselfer.

At least it wasn't gas in a diesel engine...

that's less harmful. You can run a surprisingly high percentage of unleaded in your diesel with no negative effects. (I've seen claims of 30%)

In fact, in the winter a lot of people put a bit of unleaded in to help it run better.

Uh, no it's not. Diesel will just make a gasoline engine not run. Clean out the lines and you're pretty much good to go. Gas in a diesel engine is BAD. People at work have done both (both diesel and gas equipment) and the mechanics say gas in diesel is much worse... Lost about $50K in equipment due to it.

Of course the cake taker is when some guy put diesel in the RADIATOR of a gasoline tractor because he couldn't find the gas cap... 🙂
