Ah...memories of computers old and gotten for free. The computer in my dorm room right now is a 1992 IBM PS/2 Model 9577-KNG. 80486DX/2-66, 24MB RAM (Parity at that), Microchanel bus, IBM XGA-2 graphics adapter, 2 SCSI HDD's 512MB and 1024MB, IBM 2.88MB FDD (remember those?), a DDS drive which I don't have drivers for, and two 16/4 Token Ring NIC's. About the PS/2 keyboard, it does weigh a lot, but it's the best keyboard I've ever seen. Currently it's running OS/2 Warp 3.0, still rock solid operating 24/7. The best part is that it weighs so much I don't have to worry about some idiot stealing it, he'd get a hernia. Nice to know the old guard aren't forgotten. Still, I want my ThinkPad to arrive soon, 13 weeks is WAY too long to wait. Note to IBM: Ship your damn A Series ThinkPads!!
