I just gave my two week notice!

I feel like a free man! Okay, a little background.

I am a graphic designer at a NYC book publishing firm. I have about 7 bosses. My immediate boss, the art director, is a complete psycho. I'm talking about a printer kicking, foot stamping, tantrum throwing, monitor bashing nutjob. We had insane deadlines, I've been there past midnight at times. It was an impossibly stressful work enviroment. I had about a 1 3/4 hour commute each way, but the pay was good. Now I got a job at a local WebDev firm, a 5 minute commute, same pay, laid-back atmosphere. I think it was a no-brainer.

Yeah, NYC traffic is a real bitch. It's a 50 minute drive when the road is clear.

congrats. 1.75 hours travel either way SUCKS. Getting out of working in NYC is always a plus. Well, except for not being able to see the hot business chicks walk around in skirts anymore... maybe you shoulda stuck it out till end of summer.
