I just found the Daikatana CD - is it worth it ???

man, put on a blindfold, throw daitakana away, and pick ANY other game, and you'll be better off (except for those mentioned at somethingawful.com 😉)

your play experience will be off teh chart yes, but it'll be down, not up... anyways, it's like having a piece of the titanic, could be worth a lot later, when ppls ask, why did romeo loose his flair, then u just show em that POS and they'll know.
 
I liked that game except for the two tag along side kicks, they all ways lagged behind or got lost and you could not go to next level with out them, I think I spent more time rounding them up then playing the game.

go play SIN instead, much better game!
 
I like some of the levels, and weapons. As said above, the sidekicks gave me the most trouble. Every once in a while I would just start hacking at them. The girl was the worst. Ladders caused me extreme pain.
 
Go get something fun instead like Beyond good and evil. Or some other title then if this one doesn't suit your taste. =P

GOD Games? You mean "Gathering Of Developers"?
They`re still in busines afaik. They made Serious Sam 1 & 2. And they were quite successfull.

Not only that, but GOD had nothing to do with the game. The developer was Ion Storm, and they did bite the dust.
 
I think you should play it just to see if "John Romero will make you his bitch" as the ads for the game said. Even if you dont play it, put it on your wall!! Its a piece of gaming history!
