I am kind of scared, happy, excited and...I dunno. I have a 1.5 yr old girl right now so she'll be two when the new one arrives. Anyone else here have kids close in age? Was it hard giving one or the other attention?

Thanks

congrats! 🙂

hehe, my parents was able to raise two kids within 2-3 yrs of each other....
raise em well...good luck 🙂

Congrats 😉 my advice is dont speak to them in little baby voices speak to them normally and teach them everything you know. Most importantly when they get older keep them away from the filthy sexual inuendo thrash nickeloden and fox kids show on tv.Have you ever sat and watched any of these new cartoons they are psychotic and ridiculous.

Congrats and good luck, I hear its really hard when they are young. But I bet they would appreciate more later on that they are closer in age rather then 7 years difference like I am.

Yes, those shows are quite ludicrous.

Nah, kids are coo'... congrats!

that is great!!!
I have to say that having kids the same age is a pretty good thing. My Brother and I are 2 yrs apart and we played great together when we were young.
Congrats!

My best advice is to treat your kids as equals. Looking down on them will make them "know" that they do not have power as an individual. Let them win a few arguments so they know that they can successfuly stand up to authority and succeed in certain circumstances.

Thanks everyone! I'm just hoping that they can grow up and be really close. My brothers and I were 5 years apart each out of 3 and I'm close to them now that I am older but we didn't play as much growing up because of the huge age gap.

Yeah, nickelodeon is almost as likely as video games to cause your kids to shoot up thier school.

I have on that is 2 and one that is 3. Just remember that you need to give them each some time away from the other so that they can develop their own identity. Sometimes the older one can be overbearing and the younger one wants to do everything the older one can.... It can be crazy sometimes but in the end just look at them and it is all worth it... 🙂

Jeez one would think you would have figured out what causes this by now!!

Congratulations.🙂

People used to say that to my aunt & uncle (they have either 7 or 8 kids now, I lost track a while ago).

His reply?

Well, we used to think it was sex, but if it was we'd have HUNDREDS of kids.

Thanks for the pampers deal! My wife now wants one of those double strollers or those things that hold two kids and you can run with them.

I hope your not asian because alot of asians that I know think of their children as "investments", having them so later in life they can take care of you when your old and fragile. Anyway congrats and best of luck to them ankle-biters. 🙂
