thanks, everybody, for the words. we're all in shock right now - it's as if it were a really bad dream we can't wake up from. i've known people to die of natural causes and in accidents, and this is totally different - somebody killed these girls on purpose.


and if all you want to do is bitch about "attention whores", stay out of the thread. while you're at it, grow up. :|
 
between another friend's house being broken into two weeks ago and this, it really makes me want to turn to a life of vigilantism

Sorry to hear about that fuzzy bee. It's hard to imagine what would drive someone to do something like that, and it's even harder to imagine what the husband and family must be going through.

I'm guessing the police are being tight-lipped about this with the husband as well, because more than likely they are trying to rule him out as a suspect. Unfortunately in a very large percentage of these kinds of cases, the husband/boyfriend is the culprit, and investigators have to rule them out (or in) first.
 
OMG, what a horrible crime. 🙁 It's terribly sad; there seems to be an epidemic of murders/deaths on AT lately. I don't like having my fellow members go through all this pain. 🙁
 
I think most people's first reaction is to kind of shy away from the ones closest to the two women, just because they don't know what to say or do..... but right now is when those people need the most support, and just being there to help them take care of basic things can be a great help.

Sad... and this kind of thing happens all over the country all the time....

They know who he is. The son of a bitch already had comitted 14 felonies, and had been paroled twice, but he was let out again to kill my friend. I hope to God they shoot him and let him die slowly.

If they weren't wasting space keeping people in jail from their "War On drugs" they would have room to keep scumbags like THIS locked away and the world would be a safer place for ALL of us!

BTW: When I say "people" I mean those non violent types doing time for pot possession or cultivation. There ARE some people doing time for drug related charges that SHOULD be doing time. Those involved with HARD drugs, that victimize people to support their habit.
