Hey Nick-
I'm 21 and JUST (like 2 weeks ago) went through something very similar- I had a tumor on my left thigh. I know how ya feel, it's weird when somthin like this happens to you- makes ya feel kinda powerless.
In my case, they cut it out, sent it off to the lab (after showing me first of course =) and it came up as being nothing. Keep your chin up, I'm sure it will be fine, but I know it's scarry as hell.
