i just formatted my hard drive, the os partition

and reinstalled windows.. and after that... folders from my other partitions on the same hard drive dissapeared??

any ideas what happened?

yeah, the os partition was ntfs before, and i formatted it using ntfs again

a few folders in the other partitions just dissapeared

ah... i restarted and it ran chkdisk on the partition and it found all the folders/files

Yeah - your system had to re-establish the file/folder associations.
