BWAHAHAHA, my computer is so awesome =), too bad it's using only windows XP home =( but it's still so cool!!!!!!!!!!!

a single 74gb raptor?

thats so not worth it... u could of had 2 big sata 150 drives instead extra storage with all the speed u need, raptors arent all that

i have roughly same.....a64 3200 (tho its now running at 2.4ghz) a 6800gt at ultra speeds. 2 samsung sata hard disks,

22k + on 3d mark 01 and jus under 12k for 3d mark 03 and im not complainin
 
I really don't need the extra storage, I prbabaly won't go above 40 GB since I like keeping stuff on dvds and cds so my hard drive doesn't seem cluttered =) anyway if it loads stuff 3 seconds faster then I'm all for it, plus it has the "cool factor" =D And eyah I'm gonna start overclocking my video card and CPu soon.!! =)

Well I like the fact with XP Pro you can actually specify what certain users can do, and also the fact that you can connect with other pcs. In XP home you can only set a user to Adminster or Limited ( i think).

Edit: Also I hear that you can set passwords on folders, I can't do that with XP Home.
 
xp pro include encrytion and more administative options. i was under the assumption you were going to be the only or primary user.
