I just don't like Korean food.

Her Mom will send us "Pool Goo Gee" and meats flavored with "Kochu Chang".

I just cannot get used to the flavors, and I really just don't like it.

My GF is currently pissed at me cuz I wont eat her Mom'd 'Pool Goo Gee' flavored Ribs.

Bulgogi is wonderful. I stop by the Korean food booth that a Korean church runs at the fair every year. One of my former co-workers helps out there as she attends the church, and the food is always great. ~

bulgogi isn't flavored with kochu-chang. kochu-jang is a spicy, red pepper paste. goto a korean restaurant and try bulgogi....while your at it try some kalbi too. maybe her mom just isn't making it correctly.

Try her mom's other dish. I don't like kimchi, but other korean foods in the restaurant I frequented several years ago were hot and tasty, just the way I like it.

Come on, you tried one dish and you resigned to say you did not like all korean food.

Kochu Chang flavored pork.

Bim Bim Bap.

Bulgogi.

Kim Chee.

Korean Ribs flavored like BulGoGee.

Mapo Tubu

and others I cant think of right now.
