accidentally filled it up with V-Power

Stupid shell station had the pumps opposite of the other shell station I frequent....add in a distraction and I pwned my car engine =(


Only had 2 gallons in before I realized,stopped, and said WTF?
 
no, its just really high octane gasoline

If anything, it won't do any harm but might just run a little rich , feel more like a retard, because I may have well just filled it up with diesel =(

Same.

Premium won't do anything to a car that doesn't require it. Your wallet will feel a little emptier, but that's it.
 
It's not like high octane gas will automatically make your engine run on super powers or anything...all it does is lighten the wallet a bit.

Won't hurt your engine in the slightest.

Couldn't you just fill the rest with regular? I thought gas stations mixed low and high octane for the mid grade.
 
not only will it not pre-ignite, now it will really not preignite until the spark plugs kicks in. Does nothing bad to the car, and might actually be a good thing as most places put in more cleaning additives to the higher octane gasolines.
