I just cought my microwave on fire...-- update-- you asked for pics, now i've got them. :)

i got a sub from Sheetz earlier today and was just warming it up becuase i was hungry. I didnt realize that the paper it had been wrapped in had some sort of foil coating on it. So when i turned the microwave on it suddenly lit up really bright and sparks were shooting out of the paper and it caught on fire... I turned off the microwave right away and now my room smells like smoke. i think the sub is still good though- gonna wrap it in a paper towl and try again.

that was really scary though, i had never put foil in the microwave and didnt realize it would do that. i guess i wont be doing that again.

okay-- couldnt resist trying this again-- this time with a cheap cd-r
microwave -- didnt come out very well, its my roomates microwave and the bumpersticker blocks most of the veiw-- i assure it looks really cool in person though.

the cd- this turned out really cool... i'm very impressed.

It might if you leave it running too long. 5 seconds should be about right.
