I just cooked some ham and ate it, now I feel so sick...I think it was undercooked.

It didnt taste like it normally does whe nI cook it well, and I think it may have been undercooked, and now my stomach is hurting alot. Next semester starts on monday and I arleady took 3 weeks off with the flu prior to spring break 🙁 Think I'm in trouble here? Or is it probably just because I just had 5 pieces of ham and a glass of coke?

Foodborne illness takes hours at minimum to develop in your body. I'm sure you'll feel fine after a bit 😉

You can get sick right after eating food that was spoiled and has bacteria which have released some sort of toxin. Otherwise it can take 8 to 18 hours to sick from contaminated food.

YEah, but no need to worry him- I'm sure he'd have noticed if the food was spoiled 😉
Actually, Hepatitis A may incubate for up to 50 days, much longer than 18 hours 😛

Listeriosis may take up to 70 days, for that matter.
Really neither here nor there, Staphylococcal food posoning and bacillus cereus may take hold within an hour, I've just read.
Neither of those are common in pork, though.

The carbonation in the coke activated the dormant larvae in the undercooked ham, and the nausea you're fealing is the reaction to the worms releasing toxins as they make their way to your colon. You'll be fine once you pass them in a few weeks.

Quick vomit it up and throw it in a pot for a few more min, then you'll be good to go to finish it up!

add eggs and call it an Omlet !!

Actually, a few months back, I felt bad after eating certain spicy or greasy foods. My wife thought I had food poisoning one time after eating at Taco Bell. Most nights, I would drink lots of Milk of Magnesia and pray like crazy the pain would stop. One night, I felt so bad, I went to the E.R. An ultrasound test determined that my gall bladder was enflamed and contained several "stones." If the problem persists, have your gall bladder checked out. I had my surgery about a month ago. I still have some issues with spicy foods, but the killer pains that I used to experience are all gone. 😎

Funny man. You're gonna make the guy have a heart attack instead of dying from the food poisoning.
