i have a lvl 38 warrior that i twinked out pretty well too.

I was in full teir 2 epics w/ 3000g and an epic mount, I got $450.

play on the atot private server instead... not like the real thing, so it's like methadone for heroin addicts..

atot private server? info please.

Agreed, info please.

Yeah, WTF

it is down right now i think, the admin is upgrading the server to a dedicated box. (probably allow a max of 20-30 people at a time)

you'll need the client version at 1.8.0 and edit the realms.wtf in your wow directory to the name/ip of the private server. as far as i know, you can't downgrade your version if you went 1.9. you'll need to reinstall the game and upgrade to 1.8.0 using the full 1.8.0 patch.
located here.

the private server is not perfect, with tons of bugs.
there are other not ATOT servers you can use, try here.

can we get a leveled up/decked out character on the server? i doubt i would reroll and start from lvl1 all over again. :(

Take it you were on a carebear server?

Those don't sell for good reasons. :p

I quit that game after a few weeks. I don't understand why people want to spend real life money repeatedly, as well as an enormous amount of real life time (I know a few people with over 40 days of played time) just to level up a virtual character and gain virtual skills. A friend of mine knows someone with 140 days of played time. You could practically master an instrument with that type of investment, but it's better to slay e-dragons I guess.

Different strokes for different folks though. Any game that requires me to be at the computer for 6 hrs straight (say, in a raid) at all hours of the night is ridiculous. "My guild demoted me because I haven't played in a week and a half" is completely fvcking retarded. Real life is actually worth some of your time. :p

probably, what level do you want to be? it's not like the real thing since you'd have very hard time to find other players to group with.

WoW2?

Diablo 3 MMO.

Officially announced at blizzcon.

nnooooooo... i planned to quit diablo2 when my barb made lvl 67 and used up his 3rd wish (forgot name). got a +2 skills amulet (forgot name) from it, so i didnt quit for a LOOONG time.

i could make a lvl 34 character in 4hrs and use up 2 wishes to get that uber sword. sadly, after about 100 wishes, i never got anything close to what could be the max stats on the item. and i finally gave up since the repetition got tedious.

He's mistaken. There has been no official Diablo 3 announcement, although there have been multiple reports of work being done on the game (particularly the orchestral recordings), which as far as I know, is not an mmo.

what's the level cap on the atot server? lol. i'm not hardcore/crazy enough to play the amounts needed to get full epic sets. i probably just want a character like that to pwn stuff because i would never be able to do that on the real servers. haha

Throw it away (your game). Also throw away EQ. It'll be a lot harder for you to get yourself to go out and buy the games again than it will be to stop yourself from reinstalling them based on pure will.

You really don't want to live your entire life online, and on the computer for that matter. Take up a real life hobby with other people. One of my friends just quit, so I know how much of a bitch it can be, even if I personally hate the game.

Quitting WoW was pretty easy for me once I hit level 60. After that, the few remaining quests get too damn hard to be fun. Most of them require you to put together groups of 20 to 40 people, and spend 4 hours hacking through some dungeon only to get your ass kicked by the final boss because a few people left early.

Besides, even if you DO win, what do you get? A chance at some epic item that is only 10% better than the rare weapon that you already had?!? No thanks.

Playing other games for several hours really doesn't help ;). Go out and shoot some hoops or something.

I started out enjoying WoW. The first few levels were fun. But the amount of grinding you have to do to advance a little bit just got really tedious. It was addicting, but tedious. I quit when I got to lvl 25.

I did like selling and buying at auctions, though.
