I just built a computer for someone, and XP says there are no updates available, HELP!!

I just built a simple system with these specs:

1ghz PIII Celeron at 1333mhz
512mb crucial PC133
Abit ST6
Antec True Power 330
Maxtor 740dx quiet drive
Lite-On 40x drive
GF3 Ti200
SB Audigy

Every time I do windows update, the update site says there are no updates! I also cant install the INF drivers that the ST6 came with (I'm thinking XP should have them all but I could be wrong). Dose anyone know what's going on?

I think there is something called dynamic update that installs with XP and this may be what's missing...I'm not 100% sure on this though. Sounds odd indeed. Hope it works out. Maybe try a reinstall.
