I just came back from the store but haven't installed it yet. A funny thing happened at the counter - as I was paying, the guy at the counter told me that it comes with a 30-day activation period. I replied that I know that. Then he told me that after I activated it, I'd have to be careful about what I install, because "Microsoft will know". I just smiled and walked away.... 🙂

I don't know about you, but I think that my Viewsonic monitor is actually a disguised x10 camera piping what I am doing directly back to Microsoft.😀

Well, I'm back, which means that my installation went smoothly without having any men in black appearing at my doorstop yet.... 😀

So far I like the look and feel of the system, although one little bug that I noticed right away was that I experienced a performance lag while trying to scroll through drop down lists with a large number of items (e.g. when selecting time zone).

I'll be off and exploring the OS now....
