Congrats. My wife and I had 1991 Civic a few years ago before upgrading to something larger for the family.

Congratulations! The two most important purchases you will make throught your life are vehicles and real estate. Make sure you change the oil regularly and keep up the scheduled maitenance on the car and a Honda will last forever. Hopefully the person who owned it before you took good care of it. Have fun!!

Nitemare- I don't have a digital camera, sorry. Color- it's like a dark charcoal and in some lights it looks a little bit brown. It's an LX model, manual transmission, power locks/windows/seatbelts, cass/AM/FM. What details do you want me to tell you? I'm not extremely into cars so I don't know what to tell you.

The people before me (there were 2 owners before me) took amazing care of it. And they had EVERY SINGLE RECEIPT!! They even had the paper that originally came on the car when it was brand new. Their file was like an inch thick. The car was in almost perfect condition. There's a little bit of clear coat peeling and my dad said something to do with the brakes (they're squeaky- routers maybe? not sure) but nothing very big. Oh, and the rear passenger window doesn't always go up without help when it's rolled down.

The people I bought it from wanted $3500 for it and I offered them $2800 and told them I could get them a cashiers check that day and they said yes. :)

Wow sounds like a great car and nice bargaining skills.

Yeah how many miles are on it?

I already have a file (actually box) setup for my new 2002 Honda Accord SE, every single receipt/repair/maintenance record is going in there. So when I sell it, I'll put all the info into a binder showing the car from birth to present.

Almost 107k, which isn't bad for an 11 year old car.

~Chels

True, that's an average of 9,727 miles per year, about 6,000 less than the average.

We'd love to see interior and exterior pics of your new car!

Congrats chels.... :)

Thats an awesome car for 107K, just learn to drive stick properly.. I am not sure if you know how to drive a stick or not.

Do the regular maintanance and it should give you past 200K (well that's what I said to my tercel but then who knew what was coming).

Enjoy your new used car.. :)

107K is really low for that old of a vehicle.

If you want, you can bring it over & use my digicam to get pics of it.

I just got a 92 Civic 5 spd a few months ago. Its a nice little car, and the gas mileage isnt too bad for driving around town all the time. Mine's nearing 180k miles with the ORIGINAL clutch, so i dunno how much longer it'll last. anyways, congrats on your new car!

i wrote a prgram to keep track of maintence and oil changes and gas millage after every fill up.

i can just hand the next buyer a cd-r with all the data.
