I have been through many gold boxes and have seen a handful of electronics. Since this is what I mainly buy at Amazon, I assume they are not targeting.

Well I went in today and saw an egg poacher for sale. I didn't save a whole lot, but my wife and I make eggs once a week and our current poacher is crap. I can't wait for it to arrive. :)

I was almost going to buy an MP3 player last week but a 1 minute search on Google revealed that it was a piece of crap.

Good deals in the gold box are few and far between.

Same here. I don't need a freakin' rattle. Nor a baby monitor. Nor a table saw.

There's a rice cooker floating around the Gold Box items, but i've yet to get it offered to me. I really, really wanted it too!

A rice cooker pops up every other day it seems in mine. But I have no need for a rice cooker, so I haven't taken the deal.

I had a rice cooker offer yesterday, but I think it was around $150, that's just too 'out there' price-wise, even with the fuzzy logic chip.

I went in on a polder brand oven thermometer/timer that cost $16. One of those ones with the magnetic backing and temperature probe you can pass through the door and leave in during cookin. Really works well, just wish it had an on/off button (LCD display is constantly on). Used it for a pork loin the other night.
