Ya, I wonder if that e-mail is from the E-Bay Seller too. Just sounds too fishy(no pun intended) to me.

Watch out for those cheap "mp4" players.
They say mp4, but often thats not mpeg4, its amv.
A low bitrate, poor quality video format that requires you convert your video to the format before you can play them.
