I just bought an Intersact S-video cable for my gamecube and the image is blurry...

How likely is it that it's the cable and not the tv? The tv is only a month old. link to tv Using the composite cables, the image is fine, using the inputs on the front and the back. Just the s-video image is blurry. Any ideas?
 
The display is legible, but there are "lines" running through everything. Using the composite video, there is no problem.
 
Cheapest and easiest solution is the cables.

Do you have anything else with s-video capability to test hte TV?

DVD player, another console, etc?

I do, but it would be a major PITA. It's easier to just do an exchange. 🙂
