I just bought a new desktop with vista. It is slow and I need help

I have not bought a pc for a few years. But they usually come with software on a separate cds.

Well I want to install a clean operating system. Since there is ton of bloatware on this pc. What can I do?

Can I borrow a friends vista premium and use my cd key? Does anyone know the answer?

You should be able to use your key with any Retail or OEM media. You will probably need to activate by phone once it's installed. There are a few threads in OS on the issue.
