I really like living in CA because I love asian food and cuisine... you can practically eat any type of cuisine any day..

I've lived in the Philadelphia region my whole life and I fail to see where we fall flat there. You Californians might not be able to handle a little snow, but I would rather have our weather than the summers you get out there. A house in a nice suburb 30 minutes from Philly, and maybe 2 hours from NYC, will run you $150k-$200k.

I live in the city now. The question isn't do we have it, but which type of Asian food are you talking about?

Yea, the suburbs are pretty white. But the city itself is diverse.

Yea, the suburbs are pretty white. But the city itself is diverse.

of course you have chinese and japanese food, but its probably americanized. here in socal I can go to an authentic chinese cuisine from all parts of china, and different types of food too..

Well it depends. Where I lived my parents will probably sell our 2.4k squarfoot house for about 450-500 soon, and then travel 5 miles away from where we are too more the outskirts and buy a 4k sqft house for 550.

Yeah housing here is expensive. I remember in 98 in colorado housing being like 80-100k or so. But heard that they had an explosion in prices and things went up, but probably not to the degree over here

Btw as for the housing bubble exploding...people have been saying this since we first moved to CA. SOOOOO many people were discouraging us from buying a house.

Oh and CA rules. After 15 years in CO, the culture here is a LOT better and things are much more fun. I've never seen as diverse an area as well. Cities are always diverse, but find me an entire region like that (though its mainly plots of asians here, white people, mexicans...but its better than just plots of white people )
