I went to my local sleeptrain and asked for their serta posturepedic firmest bed set. I need queen size because my old bed was a queen and my bedding is queen size. Anyway, Costco has the bed at 569.00 and with tax and delivered it was 615.59.

sleeptrain had the bed at 899.00:Q he said he could price match it because he would rather keep me as a customer:D so I got it.

Sleeptrain will also remove my old bed for free costco would not. So the total delivered is 650.00 with a frame as well, Yay Me!

I need a new bed. But I'm holding out for the annual mattress sale at Costco.

I'm thinking of buying one of those matress protectors, just in case I have an accident while sleeping:eek:

No bed should be without one. Sometimes those "baby oil and marshmallow fluff" nights can get a bit messy. :D

Nice bed, BTW.

Mattress protector? You mean like plastic or the pad? I have a pad (from Costco), and I'm not sure what it's for. My mom always used them on all the beds, so I've got it in my head that it's part of the bed.

I bought my queen mattress from Costco a couple of years ago, and I'm pretty happy with it. I don't remember it costing as much as you said, but I also hauled it home myself. I'm 5'11" (I don't consider a "little person"), and my feet don't hang over the edge.

I had no other bed to haul away... but if I did, I'd just take it out to the street and set it on fire.

I live in Los Angeles, and that's what we do.

Well up here in Northern California we like to think of ourselves beyond caveman behavior. In NorCal we normally will just put it out back behind our trailer and use it as a sun bed.:)
