I bought two gforce 2 mx200 from Ocie.com it took forever to get here, UPS from California to NY. I put one card in my brothers computer and it would freeze up windows when the screen saver came on and it would freeze up right away when we started playing Quake or UT. Dropped agp to 2X and it has been running very sable.

Is that hurting my performance, dropping AGP from 4X to 2X.

I put
The other card in my system and there were lines going down the Windows Startup screen, and when windows loaded the picture was disgusting. I could barely see anything. Wherever I moved my mouse this ugly green trail about an inch think followed me and it covered up the wallpaper and icons where I could not see them at all. I was able to sift through all that sh-t and load up the drivers, but nothing came of it, still same ugly picture.

I think I am screwed. Should I return both cards. They were made by Inno3D.

I am scared to get another one of these piece of sh-ts.
All of Ocie.com's graphic cards are made by Inno so I cant even trade it towards another card.
Do you think I should plop more money down and get the geforce 2 pro made by Inno3d.

hmm...

What drivers are you using. have you got the latest 4 in 1's??
If you have the newest dets, and the latest via drivers....(assuming you set it up correctly) it should work.

BTW Why the hell did you but the mx200, i mean, you live in America, (i live in australia therefore prices are massive)and you really should have put a couple of dollars in and got the gts pro.

The mx200 is really exqulivent to the TNT series!!!

Even if you do get it to work, i stongly suggest you take it back and get the gts pro, it will be worth it when all the new games come out!!!!

Is it ok to get the pro from the same company that I was having problems with the MX200.

I should have done more research on this card. I did not realize how crappy it was.

But the thing is I really think the second is defective.

I have never seen such a bad picture. It looks like 3d matrix code running around the screen.

I am nervous about buying from this manufacturer again, you know?
I dont know if OCIE.COM will give me money back they will probably give me a credit.

Looks like average ratings on resellerratings.com so I guess you throw your dice and take your chances.

Did you uninstall all old drivers and boot into standard VGA before switching cards?

what motherboards?

try a different vga card, not using geforce2mx chip.

once I had a Elsa geforce2mx, always got lockup problem with my 2 Epox brand motherboards, 1 is KT133, 1 is 430ZX. no way to fix the problem. changed to ati radeon le - no problem at all.

I believe some brands don't like some other brands in the computer world.
