0.25/share......not too big of a risk, I can survive if it all goes to hell. SIRIUS has potential w/ the XM merger; hopefully they can pay their debt without the reverse split....................................... anyone else buyin?

hmm, even at that price, it' still seems a bit risky. i'm no expert or anything but even with the merger it's not like they have a command on the market or anything, and there hasn't been anything new to draw people in to buying service. also, isn't HD radio free?

I rather use the money to take my family out to a nice steakhouse.

.25 X 5000 = 1,250.

Your math = FAIL. but so does my choice in buying this.. but hey, the greater the risk, the greater the reward... or some crap like that :)

i heard they're releasing new gadgets, cheaper subscriptions etc to bring new customers in. i would think they'll survive since there's no real direct competition?

Wow, good luck man. You've probably got better odds putting that $1250 on Red though.

and .05 x 5000 = 250

1250-250 = 1000 = he just lost a grand

(it's not going to drop to zero. . .)

Reverse splits provide a specacular opportunity for profit. Simple wait for suckers to buy in thinking that the stock is on the rise, then sell short maximum margin. Almost never fails (though admitedly, if it does, you're hosed).

There a difference in being fearful and just being dumb. If you own sirius stock voluntarily, you're dumb. But even dummies can get lucky. As they say, a broken clock is right twice a day.

I own sirius stock and I believe it will turn for the better. They have the best ( if not ONLY) satellite product on the market. The programming is second to none and with the merger, they now have no direct competition.

Buy & Hold.

I know nothing about the stock market but if I were going to buy stock I'd buy something else. Been thinking that Blizzard Entertainment looks like a good buy what with 3 big name titles about to be released in the coming years.

Mel Karmazin is a smart guy and is going to do everything he can to save Sirius XM. Still, this is a risky stock to put 1.25k in.

Half the XM channels I listened to are now off the air. This merger sucked donkey balls.

I got hosed on Sirius stock. Bought it at $3.50, went all the way up to $9 and held on to it, and now it's down to $.25. :(

I have considered buy the stock as well. But here is a question, with the stock price so low any chance they will be delisted from Nasdaq?
