I just ate a $65 steak...

...and it tasted like meat. Nothing more. Supposed to be such a great restaurant too. Maybe I just don't appreciate a good, aged steak. Hmmm.

Where at?

I had the bone-in rib steak from Delmonico's at the Venitian in Las Vegas and it was awesome. It was somewhere is the $60 range.

Filet?

I've never been much of a filet fan. I'm all about the porter house or ribeye. Filet are just meat flavored jello.

I want some good marbleing to give things that delicious steak flavor. 🙂

Soon, you'll be taking a $65 dump.

Law of symmetry.

Edit: Just saw that her209 had the same idea.

I went to Chops in Atlanta with my girlfriend. What a ripoff.

I got the surf and turf (44). They actually flash fried the lobster tail. Blah it tasted just like fried shrimp. Frieng kills the lobster taste.

And they way undercooked my steak which wasn't that good anyway.

I'm glad I didn't but the 95 kobe steak. Probally just a steak.

You really need some spelling lessons.

EDIT: Damn you, you edited your post. 🙂

Chops was not that great. Honestly, I prefer Stoney River in Atlanta to all of the steak houses they have around here.

I dunno about that one.

It probably depreciates in value exponentially as it is being eaten and digested.

i will never pay more than $25 for a steak, i'll buy one at the store and cook it myself before i pay someone $26+ for a dam piece of meat.

I'll still take $10 worth of porter house or ribeye from a nice fat Iowa corn fed cow that I can season up and slap on my own grill over any restaurant cooked steak.

Rib Eye, rare + side baked potato with everything + side brocolli = heaven.

Ruth's Chris was good the first time I went there. I haven't liked it as much since then.

I still think Stoney River makes the best steak in Atlanta.
