I joined Friendster.

I read some of you people talking about it on here so I checked it out. Unfortunately I don't know too many people who'd be interested in this. My email that I use for Friendster is mithshrike@yahoo.com is you want to add me to your friend network...

EDIT: OK the above address is shown in my account settings so I guess it's just that Friendster doesn't like me. Anyway, I change the (at) for those of you who like to copy/paste.

Yes, yes it is. I have had problems with spam and I have found that my spam is greatly reduced because of this practice. Anyway, I'm going over to Friendster site to see if I can change that there email address.

Friendster is funny....it's like attempting to get rid of the stigma of internet dating by having other strangers vouch for a stranger....

It's an interesting concept and pro-attention whore definitely.
