I it just me or does Microsoft limit download speed when your using firefox?

I've noticed that when I try to download something from the MS site using firefox my speed is much less than when using IE. Using FF I'll get only like 15kb/sec and if I start the same download with IE I'll get 200-400kb/sec

Maybe I'm crazy but it seems to happen all the time.

of course I just tried it now and I'm getting 500kb with firefox... DOH!!

You are being watched...no go download some warez and see what happens. 😀

I'm not aware of any checkbox in IIS that says "give slower downloads to Firefox users."

Really, Microsoft has better things to spend their time and effort on.

Not really. A while back, if you tried to use Opera to view microsoft.com, it would display incorrectly. But if you told Opera to identify itself as IE, it would work fine. They intentionally broke functionality with Opera.
