I think that's his index finger. It could be either the index finger or the middle finger...you can't really tell from the blurry video. This is why all cameras should be HD.

Ok guys its the INDEX FINGER! The president knows that the cameras are watching him, and only someone 100x stupider than george bush (although he is pretty stupid) will point the middle finger out like that when there are hundreds of cameras focused on him.

at first it seems to be his middle finger
then it turns into his index finger
then it turns into his thumb

and on further look I can clearly say its his thumb

Strange. Somehow I thought maybe there were more pressing issues than the President's blurry fingers in a video. I could certainly think of at least 3-4 other more important things to criticize him on.
