OP isn't too far off on what he said actually....
My brother owns a '92 prelude into which he put an H22A from Japan, as well as other misc. upgrades including nice headers and a high preformance exhause package. (I don't remember what kind, but it came off a modded out Skyline he found in a junkyard.)
He swears he out runs Mustang GT's and others of similar class when over 100-120, and can top out at over 150.
Thankfully, since being married he has slowed down quite a bit and drives mostly sane now.
But don't be so surprised at what the OP is saying....

Well, the engine is just a side bit. If OP is true, he was racing, up to 140+, on a public road, when there was other traffic around.
If OP cared about his car / thought it was actually decent, he'd get track times. Instead, he races illegally like an idiot.

A 92' Prelude (early 4th gen) weighs 300-400lbs LESS than the OP's vehicle, 300-400lbs at that speed becomes rather important.
It is EXTREMELY unlikely your brother EVER found a modded Skyline in ANY american junkyard. If thats what he states then he is FOS, since the only skylines in this country have been brought here by a company called motorex (I don't know if they still are able to import them) they are RHD and it would be EXTREMELY unlikely to find one in a junkyard especially at all intact as almost ANY part is very valuable due to the rarity and likely sold on ebay or some other online outfit.
If your meaning he had parts removed from a modded skyline and put on this prelude motor he's either a complete moron or thinks you are. There is no way he removed an exhaust from a skyline and used it on his prelude, MAYBE a muffler but that would be utterly pointless and stupid.
A mustang GT (not the most recent model) is not THAT hard of a car to out run in stock trim, off the line a mustang will shit on most preludes (with that motor and any other) and only at highway speeds is it likley that he could out pace them if for a short time but a corvette of the C4 variety would out run a mustang too. Furthermore mustangs and Corvettes are not in the same class.
I almost believe that his car will do 150 but not much more only because of how much experience I have with those cars, but I am inclined to think not due to his statement around using a skyline exhaust on a prelude... Which absolutely SCREAMS ricer
