I hope this is the right board! I have an important question! If my sister and I use the same computer and we both want to make an order using a one time coupon code, how can each of us use the code? Someone said something about cookies. Please tell me how to do this.
If this is the wrong board please help me find the right board.
Thank You,
Kathi

Welcome, Kathi. The sole focus of the Hot Deals forum is for each of us to post and share any legitimate hot deal s/he has found. Any ancillary questions or comments must go in on of the MODERATOR sponsored threads, such as ~~I WANNA~~ or ~~HOW DO I~~, all easily found through the magic of scrolling.

Unfortunately, there is NO place on our forum for a question such as yours, the multiple use of one time only coupon. That is fraud, we have a strict policy against same.

Thanks for your enlightened cooperation.

wrong board, this is for hot deals, not q&a. Sorry but you can use a one time coupon only once (ie that's why they call it a one time coupon). We do not promote illegal activities here.

This isn't the right board but let me tell you this. By getting rid of cookies won't do anything good (before yes but not now) because they the online shopping sites are using shipping address, cc # to track the usage of the codes (I assume that is a code for new customers). Unless you have two different addresses, then that will be different story.

If its a one time use coupon, only one of you can use it. If its a one per customer coupon, then you both should be able to use it. But sometimes sites consider one household as one customer. As becat said, some stores cross-reference addresses and credit cards.

one time use coupons mean that once someone has used it, it has expired. even if the coupon is in your cookie (kind of like a cache, copy of it stored on your computer) then it has already expired on their server, that means you'll most likely get an error message sayins it's already been used.
