Royce is just too old and UFC style fighting has evolved too much. It's legacy vs. modern techniques. There's just no comparison. I would've loved to see him beat Matt but alas, reality wins. Actually I'm sure Royce would probably be disappointed if he beat Matt.

Royce didn't just lose, he was destroyed.

Nah, not really, he's a badass for getting out of that arm hold that Hughes had on him. He just let himself get underneath Hughes too early. I don't know many people that could take punches like that from Hughes...
