And then one week before the election date, the media finds conclusive evidence that Bachmann's husband is a homosexual living a lie, and then she loses miserably to Obama. 😀

Her husband is definitely a closet fudgepacker. It's blatantly obvious too. I'm leaving the country if that crazy lady and her husband become President and "first man"
 
Michelle Bachmann is a terrible politician and I'd hate to live in a country where she could be elected president.

but what do any possible struggles with homosexuality that her husband may or may not have have to do with anything?

I think it would have to do with the fact that Bachmann is so crazy far right that having her husband outed as homosexual would hurt her standing with the right and thus hurt her voting base. Then again, the odds of anyone who's more intelligent than a turnip, and not so far right as to have to question their sanity, ever voting for Bachmann are pretty low.

Hard to say exactly. A sizeable portion of the self-annointed "enlightened" progressives here use gay slurs to insult other forum members. Closer to home here in Michigan, the most brazenly racist and homophobic people I've ever had the misfortune to meet are union card carrying auto-workers. They vote Democrat.

The only thing that will save obamas ass this next election is the sorry state of republican candidates. The same reason Bush was re-elected.... Kerry and Edwards.

Nah, a man's gotta know his limitations. If that happens to be making accusations of homosexuality whilst imagining a progressive utopia, as in this case, pretending to more will only confuse him.

does his world view matter? he's not running for office, his job is to sit there and look pretty and make mama a sandwich.
 
I find it nearly impossible to imagine Michele Bachmann actually being elected President. She's nuttier than squirrel poop. It certainly appears to me that Marcus Bachmann is a closeted gay man, and if she were somehow nominated the Dan Savages of the world would not rest until they found evidence of him engaging in gay acts (which would be significantly problematic considering that he has called gay people "barbarians" and she has made her opposition to the gay lifestyle such a focal point of her campaign).

My favorite part is that the guy named 'Doc Savage Fan' (presumably for Michael Savage?) is complaining about someone else being anti gay.

I love watching the right wing of America desperately try and convince people that it's really leftists that are the racists, the homophobes, etc. How's that working out for you guys?
