I hit a truck with with my car today...

I was stopped at a stop light with one person in front of me. I must have been off in my own little world for the moment the light was red, and as soon as the light turned green I started to drive. The other guy didn't start moving and as soon as I realized he wasn't moving it was already too late.

No damage at all to his truck. His steel bumper impaled my Saturn's front end.

/facepalm

This is why I drive trucks. They're friggen tanks, little plastic econo cars hit me and crumple like they were made of paper and at the very most I'll be spending $300 to replace a bumper (if that even).

I love my truck.

So......you rear-ended someone, but your front-end got impaled?

Someone must be doing something very wrong.

Until everyone starts driving genuine tanks. Then you'll need to upgrade. Nothing like a good old arms race.

Oh man don't even get me excited. I mean, sure they'd have to upgrade the road system a little bit, but a street legal Panzer would be THE SHIT.
