My video card just died (luckily it died before I shipped it off for sale, rather than dealing with that whole mess), and so I checked and apparently my computer is still under warantee. Well I called them up and for the first time in my life a tech support guy talked to me like I wasn't an idiot.

I'm glad someone likes them. I have to admit they have treated me well in the past but I inform them I am an IT person right off the bat and that makes the calls more productive.

Ah, gotcha.

I think MPC is Micron reincarnated. Too bad Micron didn't make it among the big three mid-90s mail order companies (Micron, Dell, Gateway). I always liked Micron better than Gateway.
