I haven't played a computer game in 2 weeks!

I told myself that PC games are a waste of time and that I should be doing other things with my time. Well I'm trying to stop cold turkey but San Andreas and Battlefield 2 are coming out soon!

It was getting bad guys. I was gaming for 6 hours a day, 6 days a week. That's like a full time job!

So what should I do? Should I get back into gaming or should I find continue to find other more productive hobbies like learning Spanish? I wanted to learn Spanish but I haven't even touched the cd yet! Video gaming is too time consuming I guess.

:(

Perhaps cut down to maybe one or two hours a day?

hey are a waste of time for the most part, but sometimes wasting time is fine. 36 hours a week is probably too much, though.

Gaming is a waste of time. That being said it is a preferrable waste of time for me than watching TV, so I guess it works. I plan to enjoy battlefield 2 very much in the near future :)

Yea, I've talked about this issue with my thearpist and she has wanted me to ditch the games alltogether.

Maybe I should give her a quick call.

in the long run, playing pc games are a very very big waste of time. it's so hard to put a good pc game down! but if you think of all the other stuff you can get accomplished (get a lady, hangout more, exercise, have some family time, etc), that should be enough to help you reduce your gaming time.

They're not a waste of time. They are recreation like anything else. It's only a problem when you CAN"T do anything else. Couple hours a day should be no big deal.

I agree with what Electric said. If you play them within reason they are no more a waste of time than watching t.v., reading or going fishing. Thirty six hours a week, howver, was definitely excessive.

That's what I was wondering. Do you think you've become more productive? Are you actually doing something you consider more worthy of your time? Are you happier?
