I have two codes for an XBOX Live Gold 48-hour trial.

These have come out of recent games, so I'm offering them to anyone who has been wanting to try out the service. Please, please, please don't request one of these two codes unless you yourself wants to use it. I'd rather help out a member of Anandtech who has contributed to console gaming forum rather than supplement your friends 🙂.

These trials are for multiplayer gaming only, and will not give you access to any other Gold membership features (whatever those may be).

Just a warning some codes don't work with all games. Once me and a buddy kept trying to use one to play Halo but it wouldn't let us in. CS finally said the 48hr codes don't work with Halo. So either a stupid rule or a stupid CS Rep.

I think you might can play Social Playlists, just no Ranked Matches. Or it might be just custom games. I'm glad they did it, otherwise the multiple account idiots would be even worse.

You know I think that may be it, because if we wanted to play social we could have just signed in as a guest (we were trying to use it to play ranked).
