I have tried the green Coke.

Coke is overrated. Not too surprised that this is but then I haven't heard any hype over it other than from Coke's marketing department. Most people just roll their eyes when they find out what it is (them replacing about 1/3 of the sugar with Stevia sweetener).

Sounds like Pepsi Next which tastes fine two me.

It's kinda similar but the key difference is Coke Life uses Stevia (a newer sugar alternative that's supposed to be better, although for soft drinks its more that it's different from Splenda and Aspartame since both have become almost as unmarketable as HFCS).

I think Pepsi Next also uses HFCS for the sugar while Coke Life uses cane sugar.

Hmm seems like Pepsi Next changes depending on market, so some have cane sugar instead of HFCS. Same with the sugar alternative it changes depending on where it's produced.

Coke and some drinks like it taste good to me but I haven't had any of them in years because they may be bad for your health. It may not even be true, or it probably is true or it's hard to know which studies to believe.

Well of course having too much of anything super sugary isn't good for you but just like anything, it's fine in moderation.

The problem is people started replacing water with pop to hydrate themselves. Duh, pop tastes better. Never mind that cola is a diuretic and loaded with sugar. It's like grabbing a Snickers and a roll of Sweet Tarts and calling it a meal replacement. My dad's one of those folks. Besides his morning coffee, he only drinks stuff that's carbonated. Done that at least as long as my mom's known him. So 40+ years. I'm surprised he's not as big as a house.

I haven't seen the Coke Life yet. Tried Pepsi Next and liked it. I don't think the Canadian formula uses HFCS, even though it's used in regular Pepsi. I really miss Pepsi Throwback. They stopped selling in here back in 2011. I guess it was only a limited time thing. Pepsi Next tastes similar to it though.

Not limited time, only limited in that packaging. They're still selling it although in some areas it has the newer blue label and carries a "Made with real sugar" logo instead of "throwback".
