Isnt this the x^nth time that someone has hated the president( past and pres). Maybe we just cant be pleased no matter who is in office.

When are people going to realize that it's not really the president who runs a country? Sure, the president is a mouthpiece for a country, but he/she is only a small part of it.

Besides, maybe Bush is too pre-occupied in trying to correct the mistakes that Mr. Clinton made that he can't focus on what really needs to get done. Food for thought. :)

Who actually approves of bush anyways? I can't stand him, and it seems like most people I talk to share my opinion.

Exactly. Everything the president does (for the most part) has to get through numerous checks and balances. (Sorry for using the actual term.) However, the President is the one who gets the credit for almost everything, both good and bad.

As a reminder:
Legislative Branch
Executive Branch
Judicial Branch

ALL of these have equal power.

Now I shall return to my unusually boring Saturday evening. How's the Cubs game going?

Currently 52% of the U.S. approves of him. This is the lowest it's been since 9/11.
In April he was at 71%.
