I'm sure new functions are added to 3.0. But the 2.2 version's interface looks more comfortable to my eyes, especially the fonts are bigger in the old version. (I veiw with 17in mon at 800x640, everything default).
 
unfortunatly i have to agree. couple cool new features, but this font thing is really killing my eyes (1280x1024 on a 17").
 
i like the old version because it's fast. but this interface is very clean and modern. this is a good thing!
 
From the font to the smileys to the customization and speed, this version is MUCH worse! Plus the navigation bar no longer tells you what forum that you are in!

Another vote for "I liked the old interface better".


I do hope that, with images turned off and some interface changes, Fusetalk 3 will eventually look good and be as functional as it used to be.


But I doubt it...

Well zuni was intent on not fixing the font problem...

It's not a problem for me but a lot of people must like bigger fonts.
 
the only thing that i like about the new forums is that my avatar looks a little better. but i HATE that it FORCES you to type in your name if you want to update your profile.
 
i think that after a few days of using it we'll all start to like it. The new features really make up for the areas that its lacking in.

And yes my eyes hurt!

You click on off topic. Man, I liked the other one better too. Everything seems to kind of blend together in this one. I'm not going blind yet, but I can't see things as fast.

EXACTLY! You guys are passing judgement on something that's BETA. I'm sure they they will listen to all your gripes and moans and adjust things accordingly. Give them a break, they've only been up for like 2 hours. Why is everyone so afraid of change?
 
A lot of the speed issue is probably because a lot of people are on here checking out the new interface and posting messages bitching about the speed.

Seems plenty fast to me.
 
I agree sometimes change is NOT good!!! This new version seems slower too, maybe because thats all the &quot;bells and whistles&quot;!?!
