Mining is not what is killing the cards. It is the people who repair the ones sent into said company, they do crap repair jobs.
Still no excuse for them to keep sending broken GPUs, etc over and over again.
Mining can kill cards by running them 24/7 and degrading the chips so that they can't run stable at stock.
Only if the cards were under-engineered in the first place. There are plenty of us that use GPUs for distributed-computing (similar to mining), and good cards hold up. Bad cards burn out. Just the way it is.
