I always got a bruise and it was real tender for a week.

yeah, tetanus shots suck. I got one after being head-butted and slicing open my eyebrow area.
I thought that you only got one when cutting yourself on metal but I was too drunk to argue with the doctor.

2yrs ago. Tetanus and hepatitis. I was hauling biohazard/medical waste, I would have gotten them even if my boss didn't require it.

Reminds me that I should probably get one of these some time. I think I had one like 10 years ago.

I think the last one was '94 when that guy broke into my house and I ended up with a few creases in my skull.

I remember saying to the nurse that I couldn't remember the last time I got a tetan......

And, the shot was in my arm.

I tried to get a tetanus shot 2 years ago when I was bitten by a rabbit, but my doctor wouldn't give me one. I sure miss that finger now...

I had a full gamut before going to Mexico a few years back. None of them did anything bad (one in each arm, one in each leg).

Kiss your arm goodbye, you won't be using it for about a week. I loved my last tetanus shot - the doctor assured me that the "new" shots wouldn't make my whole arm ache like hell for a week. Right, and the pope has converted to Scientology.

I got one of the new shots over the summer, arm didn't hurt at all the next day.

Summer of 2000. I filet'ed my thumb on a computer case trying to push out a steel plate that was in front of one of the 5.25" bays.

Still have the scar as a reminder of that one.

D'oh!

Both, I don't remember if it was the combo or not, but it took like 3 months total for all 3 shots.

I think it was December 2006. I was cutting some vegetables for a pizza I was making. I dropped the knife and tried to catch it before it hit my feet and that wasn't a good idea. Wound up getting stitches in my right thumb. I believe I posted a thread about it on here right after it happened. LOL!

There are new shots?... I got one in September, and it only caused a slight cramping to my arm. Nothing that bad...

well... let me tell you.... this shot was worse than i remembered. the immunization itself didn't hurt a bit, but my arm ached for 3 days. the second day being rather bothersome. the top part of my arm also was swollen. it looked like i was quite buff there, but it was painful.

Hope it feels better soon.

I cut my thigh with an xacto knife (long story)

I had to get 4 stitches and a shot, the shot was in my right delt.

It never bothered me in the shot area, I did get mild stomach cramps around 10 mintes later.

:)

About a week ago. I went back to college and they insist on some basic vaccinations. I had Measles Mumps Rubella done on the right arm and diptheria, tetanus, and pertussis done on the left.

That DTP itched like hell for a couple of days....
