Some of you may remember last year when I posted that my sister won the state duck stamp contest & took third in the national. (Linkie)

Well, today was the judging for the state competition again, & she won it again.

What's really scary is that my sister shows up in a Google search.

That's odd, because Aremy McCann, 18 -- Looks alarming like Viper GTS only she doesn't have that disturbing Hawaiian shirt on 😉
 
I show up in google. 9th non-nested search result down.

I got 7th out of 38 at a fencing tournament at U of Tennessee. Go me! Or something... (Proof)

ViperGTS, your post is a little misleading. Your sister came third, but one might have the impression that your sister came first if they have no knowledge of your sister's name, age or haven't seen her pic before.

Oddly enough, AmusedOne and I seem to see things the same here. I thought for a moment that the first place winner was your sis. She looks so much like you. However, I was startled 'cuz as far as I recollected, your sis didn't look anyway like the first place winner (McCann) when last I saw her and she would be too old to be your sis. But then I scrolled down a bit and saw "Stephanie". She looked exactly like your sis I saw in the pics you linked long time ago. I recognised the name too.

Anyway, congrats to your sis for taking the third place.

If I recall correctly, someone mentioned in this thread also has a birthday coming up in 22 days. I better write a poem or something... 17 already or is it 18...? The time, it does gallop past quickly, leaving plenty of people coughing in the dust. It helps to be able to mix dust with water to paint and create. Kudos.

That's funny, I read his post as his sister taking first in STATE, and third in last year's NATIONALS, and the link was to last year's nationals. I don't think anything was misrepresented.

My name returns about 12,000 hits on Google, and not a one is actually about or refers to me. Well, I only looked through the first 1200 or so...I suppose its entirely possible that hit #11,400 or something is me.
