Man....I dont even really know what to say. I am truly baffled that people would watch something as cheesy/bad as this. My wide has been watching this show because her sister watches it and got her watching. The one scene I saw was enough to say it was probably the cheesiest/lamest show I have seen in a long time. The guy had his bow pulled on a scientist and she pushes a button on a remote and a bunch of soldiers rush in with laser sights on Arrow. Then suddenly a blonde woman drops in and throws a bomb. The soldiers drop and all the glass shatters, as soon as they bail out a window the gunfire erupts.

1.Do you watch this show?

2.If so, why??????

I have not seen the most recent season where all the hate seems to start, but the 1st season was awesome. 2nd season was good but not quite as awesome and season 3 was just ok.
I like The Flash better personally.

They may not be the greatest thing on TV but i enjoy it enough to keep watching.

My name is human hunter number 904843, for 5 weeks I was stranded in Azeroth, with only one goal: level up. Now I fulfill Varian Wrynn's dying wish - to use the list of names he left me, and bring down those who are poisoning the alliance. To do this, I must not be a huntard. I must become good.

All kidding aside, we're in season 2, and while the first few episodes were terrible, it's gotten better as it goes on.

While I haven't seen it, I have little doubt that it's more enjoyable than "Real Housewives of Anywhere" or the unholy blight that is the Kardashian reality show.

First season had a fun concept. It was basically Batman crossed with Taken.

Second season was awesome.

Started going downhill after that. Very cheesy, but not in a good way. Seems more oriented towards the teen market than say Netflix's Daredevil. I liked the crossovers with the Flash. The Flash is also teen-oriented, but is actually really fun, and cheesy but not in a bad way. Legends of Tomorrow was pretty bad.

That's too bad, the Blacklist started out really good. First season or so was really good. Kinda fizzled out Lost-style tho.

I really like The Flash. It's light, it's fun, and they put good nerd humor in i t(re: Cisco).

If you like the Flash, check out Limitless if you haven't seen it. It was a movie first (watch the movie first), then a 1-season TV show. The stories are a little more simple than the Flash, which is why I think they cancelled it after the first season, but it's a good watch if you like fun shows.

Call me a heretic, but I didn't try watching it until the first season was done and people here were raving about it. I thought it was cheesy right from the get-go and quit after the 2nd episode. And that was the part so many people liked. It gets worse than that?

fwiw I liked the 2nd season even better than the 1st.

The problem is they introduce magic (yes, seriously) in the later seasons. The mysticism stuff worked pretty well with characters like Ra's al Ghul, where he's still a swordfighter, but has also done stuff like mysteriously living a long time, but they get a little bit too far out there for the show's story world. It's supposed to be about a ripped dude who shoots arrows, you know?

The story gets better in the first season & the action gets pretty good in the second season, but then it kinda goes downhill into cheeseland after that.

The first season has fun concepts because he does stuff like killing all the bad guys. No jail, no jury, just gets rid of the problems Punisher-style. Then he kinda grows up & stops killing people because hey, killing people is bad. So it has some good character growth, but the momentum kind of falls off the map.

Arrow and The Flash are both cheesy as hell...but come on...they're based on comic books...what do you expect?

That said, Arrow Season 1 and 2 were OK...Season 3 kind of sucked. Still waiting for Season 4 to hit Netflix. (as well as Season 2 of The Flash.)

My wife watches. I gave it a try because I was under the impression that it was based on DC's Green Arrow. Started watching one episode and saw not only the main character but several additional squad members, including some random cop, going all League of Shadows ninja style arrow shooty on the bad guys and said "Nope."

Later seasons of Arrow have failed this city.

I watch it for Thea Queen. She is so hot :) Actually i like the show, but i dont take it too seriously as it is a comic.

I liked her better in The O.C. Colton Haynes was also better in Teen Wolf. And Katie Cassidy was better in Supernatural.

Actually, I don't think any of the actors are particularly good in Arrow, or at least it's not their best work, except for Stephen Amell. On second thought: I don't think he's that great an actor, but Oliver is stoic and staid most of the time, so any bad acting is mostly masked except for the island flashbacks and the few times his character breaks down. But his spoiled rich kid Ollie is entirely unconvincing.

I do like Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak, but her character got stale after the initial will-they-or-wont-they of season 1 and 2. And yes, I'm suspending disbelief in regards to her IT/hacking abilities since most superhero shows - and TV shows in general, putting aside a few good ones like Mr. Robot - do a terrible job of it.

The best acting and role on the show was probably from Susanna Thompson (Moira Queen).

I wish John Barrowman wasn't in the show, though, because every time I see him in anything I think "that's Captain Jack Harkness pretending to be x". I don't know if that's a statement on his acting ability or a result of his role in Doctor Who/Torchwood just being that cemented in my mind.
