dang it guys! I'm doing really well on this diet thing but you guys are making me want to be naughty...

Uh....sweet potatoes are good for you. They will fit fine in a diet. Unless you stuff them with marshmallows and sugar and a tub of butter. But that isn't required.

They are VERY good for you. No fat, low calorie, vitamin packed, and very high in fiber. Use no-fat margarine, splenda, and cinnamon if you're watching calories. It's still pretty damn good.

no shit? Do you suppose that's why I bought them but have said numerous times that I didn't want to add any sugar or carbs?

Damn it...who's watching the door? You're letting the idiots in again..

Just peel and cut them into fries, then toss them in a bowl with some olive oil, salt, pepper, and cumin, and bake @400F until desired crispness! I serve mine with honey mustard, but to each their own.

Then why are you complaining about your diet if you already KNOW that they are good for you? Seems like the idiot was let in on the first post.

because marshmallows and brown sugar don't fit in...neither does fried food.

Just go back to blowing goats and leave the grownups alone

hurl them at the windows of direct relatives of representatives that voted for health care reform.

Or eat them. You can bake them. Recipies shouldn't be too hard to find...
