I have one bottle of jack daniels... what drinks can i make?

I dont wanna do the shots that i typically do when i got a bottle of jack. What kind of drinks can i make besides the boring "jack n coke" or "jack n dr pepper"
 
Jack Daniels + coke + soya sauce + Orange juice + Salt + Sugar = Everyone in party end up puking for 3 whole days. 🙂

you're going to ruin a perfectly good bottle of JD ?

neat or on the rocks is the only acceptable method of safely disposing of that stuff,why don't you just put it away till you're more in the mood for it?

Swigs is *definitely* the way to do it...

Here's what I do: Swallow some nasty ass beer so you get used to the taste of alcohol...then just pound 8 or 9 gulps of the Jack...

blah.. i wanna try the power hour with some beer... i know some idiot who tried it with vodka.. got to minute 15 then earned himself a trip to the hospital.. kinda weak if u ask me tho... i've taken about 10 at a time and was just fine... and continued to go for a long time... btw, if im in the right mood, i can drink a shizload

No, hardcore is when you do that with Everclear. Jack straight out of the bottle (in gulps) is rough, but its not hardcore.

blah.. everclear straight up aint hardcore.. its just stupid.. besides... it tastes like liquid fire... which is kinda cool.. but yeah..

anyways.. i aint drinkin straight outta the bottle... thats wut the flask is for 😉
 
If you want to make a good mixed drink with bourbon/whiskey, there's only one option: Manhattan/Rob Roy

Put about 2 oz whiskey, 1/4-1/2 oz sweet vermouth, and if you're feeling sissified, a little cherry juice into a shaker with some ice. Stir; don't shake. Pour into glasses (martini glasses ideally) with a cherry, and enjoy.

Anyway, I like it. Don't listen to people who'll try to tell you that Jack is the be-all end-all of whiskeys. It's not the best, but it's damn good 🙂

One of my old favorites.

Whiskey Sour

Ingredients:
2 oz Blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
1/2 tsp Powdered sugar
1 Cherry
1/2 slice Lemon

Mixing instructions:
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

yeah, i'd say shots or jack and coke only, and if you go jack and coke, be very sparing with teh coke, just add some for color
 
very carefully open the bottle and pour out into the sink. then go get yourself a good bottle of scotch. i recommend Dewar's for the weekdays and no less than 12 years for the weekends. 😉
