This thread makes me think of my current situation, there is a girl I plan on askin to hang out (later today, now) the only thing that really sucks is when they say they have a BF.

To add to what little wisdom I have, ask her out whilst going out with a group of friends, she will feel less pressured (even if she has a BF).

And you will too. In a group you aren't as pressured to come up with good things to say. I personally don't like going out with a girl for the first time alone, because when there is a lull in the conversation the ball is in your court to say something witty/funny, in a group of people you can just chime in every once in a while with a gem and the next day they think you are the funniest/wittiest guy they have ever met.
