I have never eaten anything from McDonalds in my life

The judge also didn't say what the "normal" amount of food was.

Dude, I'm just giving my thoughts. I'm not an anti-McDonald's guy or anything. I could care less if people want to eat it.

"Normal" is eating until you are full. Not force feeding yourself like a goose being prepped for foie gras.

That's why his liver was in distress. Force feeding causes liver damage and enlarged livers. This is what we do to geese to make giant livers for pate or "foie gras."

This could be done with virtually any food.

It is CLEALY not what the judge meant.

I am sorry..you really should give it a try..it's not as bad as all the naysayers say it is.

yes, yes it is. not only isn't it not good and healthy, but you have to pay to have some of it. what a terrible lose/lose situation.

if you want a burger, make it...it's cheap, and can be done without a disgusting amount of fat

You should be. The guy is a moron. They have done reports post-supersize me that showed a normal person would never do that. In fact, they had people who went to McD's on a regular basis, but also exercised, and they actually lost weight.

Right. Who funded all those reports? McDonald's isn't healthy. Period. End of story.

ABC did an informal test with around 10-20 people. It was on 20/20. And don't get on my case for it being "informal," it was only ONE guy in the movie. Yes, McD = bad times, but most food is alright along with exercise, etc.

A Sierra Turkey Sandwich from Panera Bread has more calories and fat than a Quarter Pounder with cheese.

McDonalds burgers are not remarkably higher in fat than any other burger.

You know, the myths surrounding crap like this is simply amazing.

I have to go with Amused on this one, the guy did it to be an attention whore. But the movie was good and it was amusing to watch a guy overfeed and almost kill himself to get fame. Usually you would stop eating something if it were giving you migraines or making you vomit but the guy kept on truckin'. 😀

I envy you. I will never eat there willingly, but just last weekend I had to choke down some tasty chicken select strips after my gf's basketball game. The only fast food plce I like is Taco Bell, and sometimes Wendy's. Just something about McDonald's makes me sick.

I eat McDonalds occasionally... I prefer Wendy's or even Burger King most of the time, but the city I live nearest has a McDonalds that at least looks clean and decent, whereas the Wendy's and Burger King looks like they are trying for 'trashiest restaurant in Ohio'. Two summers ago, when I was actually in a relationship 🙂o Short lived, though, it was....), I ate McDonald's almost every day... it was the only one that was open around the clock, and was convenient to both my house and my then-boyfriend's apartment.

Did I gain massive amounts of weight? Was I admitted to the hospital? Did I almost die? No chance. I actually lost weight, and for a while, was in better shape than I had been in my entire life. I am admittedly overweight (250 @ around 5'10"? or so), but when McDonald's food frequently is helping me lose weight, there's no chance I'm gonna say that it'll kill you when eaten responsibly.... not force feeding yourself to meet an arbitrary quota.

I'll second that.

lol, i'ma have to agree!
as much as i don't want to eat there, it's just so damn convenient.

I had McNuggets tonight (but no fries) hey at least I try.. LOL

Eating it on a regular basis is bad for you but really not all of the food is that bad. I eat at McDonalds about once every two months and they have some not so bad stuff.

I just don't get why people believe this sh1t. If it was so unhealthy they'd be shut down. Of course when you force-feed yourself and eat that much in one day you're gonna gain weight and get sick.

It's absolutely ridiculous to see the movie and say "I'm never eating there again now."

I never saw it. I still eat at McDonalds occasionally, but in general I don't like fast food that much, unless it's In N Out.

Agreed 100% In n Out has by far the best fast food burger. Occasionally, however, a filet o fish or chicken sandwich is pretty good.

I have never driven a Ford, but I saw that exclusive on how it blows up. I am thoroughly disgusted and will never drive a Ford, ever!

Get my drift ?

I've eaten McDonalds food only once in the last 6 or 7 years. I try to eat healthy plus I think their food tastes like crap for the most part.

Way to read a thread title without actually reading my post. This thread was not about me not eating at McD's, it was about Supersize Me.

Thank you n00bcheese. I'm probably as old as your daddy. 🙂
I like how "having a life" is going to McDonalds.
