one of my engineer friends just sold a mechanical squirrel for 60 Silver Pieces. They do nothing but follow you around and look cute.

I lost faith when I realized it took him this long to lose faith. Guess he missed the ones on ebay selling for real money.

I've got a 21 gnomish warlock with about 3 gp.....I sure has heck don't consider 60sp 'pocket change' nor would I buy a potion for that much.

I wouldn't be so sure, but I respect your point of view.

 
This is from chatting with guildies of similar or lesser levels....we recently established our tabard which some could not afford to buy (1 gp) out of their own pockets.
 
Somewhere around the late 20's you will suddenly start making a lot more gold, except that from that point on you will probably be saving for a mount.
 
I sure could use a &*^% mount. In EQ 2, I played a shammy and of course, we could move well with spirit of the wolf. Now I'm a gnomish warlock and itsa PITA getting around. Searching for negatives about WoW, that is one (and one of the very few) for me. I did a fedex quest Saturday for my 20 pet and it took a few hours of doing just about nothing but running around. Sometimes I regret not being a hunter.

So true, one of my friends likes to play girl characters all the time. Usually it's ok in games and can be ok in a MMORPG...I just don't want to see him start "role-playing" with all the teenies online 'if ya know umsayyyin?
